Royal Leamington Spa
Christmas Tree Festival 2022
about leamington christmas tree festival
We produced Leamington's Christmas Tree Festival – the first in the town centre at All Saints’ parish church. It was a fun-filled, magical, family-friendly visited by almost 3,000 people.
Working in and with our community
With thanks to the Royal Leamington Spa Town Council community fund, we were able to run a community outreach project as part of the festival.
We worked with 10 local primary schools to create their own bespoke Christmas tree. Each school received a professional, creative workshop. They decided on their theme and made the decorations.
Some of themes included: Victorian, Rainforest, Space, Sparkling Stars and One World. The project provided all the creative materials, much of which was recycled, a tree and LED lights.
Libby Esler from ArtLab delivered the workshops.

Partners & supporters
We're hugely grateful to everyone who helped, supported and took part in this Christmas Tree Festival. Without the exhibitors, volunteers and visitors the festival wouldn't have been such a great success
We're also grateful to our partners who supported the festive, including Sidney Syson for her help and encouragement and John Bray for all the wonderful photography.
